Pay Structure : Rs. 10300-34800/- with G.P. Rs. 3200/-

Age Limit : Age Should be between 18-28 years as on 01.01.2016. Relaxation in upper age limit is 05 years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes and 03 years for Ex-Serviceman.Refer Official Notification for More Details.

Education Qualification :

• Constable (Operator) : Candidate must have passed 10+2 class with Physics as one of regular subjects with minimum six months basic computer course (at least 200 hours) from recognized institute OR Candidate must have passed 10+2 class with Physics as one of regular subjects and B.Sc. (I.T.)/ BCA from a recognized University OR Matriculation passed and Three years Diploma in Computer Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Constable (Hardware) : Candidate must have passed Matriculation from the State Board of Education / Any recognized Board and one year certificate course in Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance approved by NCVT with one year practical experience OR Candidate must have passed Matriculation and two years Certificate Course in Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance/ Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance OR Matriculation passed with Three years Diploma in Computer Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering OR Graduation in Computer Engineering from a recognized University.
• Constable (Software) : Candidate must have passed Matriculation from the State Board of Education / Any recognized Board and one year certificate course in  Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) approved by NCVT with one year practical experience OR Candidate must have passed 10+2 class and 'O' level Computer Course OR Candidate must have passed Matriculation and Three years Diploma in Information Technology OR Graduation/ Post Graduation Diploma in field of Computer Science /Software engineering / Information Technology/ Computer Application from a recognized University.

Selection Process : Selection will be based on the performance in Preliminary Medical Test / Drug test / Dope test, Physical Efficiency test, Physical Measurement and Written test (Computer-based / OMR sheet based).

Application Fee : SC/ST/BC candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-  while General category candidates,Wards of Punjab Police Personnel and wards of Freedom Fighters have to pay Rs.400 as Application Fee. Fee may be pay either online by using Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card or Offline through Fee Challan Form at HDFC Bank/ Punjab Police Saanjh Kendras
